Sterling silver ‘jointed’ necklace with a large marquise cut spectrolite and a round, cabochon-like smokey quartz.

Spectrolite is a variety of labradorite, showing a spectrum of colours rather than just blue, as for labradorite.

The smokey quartz is domed at the front and faceted at the back, giving it a sort of ‘loupe’ effect.

Size of spectrolite (including the setting) : 60mm x 25mm.

Size of smokey quartz (including the setting): 13.5 mm.

The necklace is made of section of round sterling silver tube (diameter: 5mm) alternating with round sterling silver beads (size: 5mm)… thereby creating a multitude of joints at regular intervals, making the necklace ‘flexible’. The necklace fastens with an S-shaped clasp, made of the same sterling silver tube and round wire. Strung onto steel cable (tiger tail beading wire).
