Having trained as a professional jeweller at the workshop of a renouned jewellery designer in Düsseldorf, Germany, I moved to London and worked there for two reputable firms for a number of years…. before setting up on my own.

My pieces of jewellery are inspired by clearly-defined, three-dimensional shapes, with either a strict symmetry or a fluently flowing asymmetry… to form an object similar to a sculpture.
I mostly work in 925 Sterling Silver as this allows an abundant use of materials, due to the much lower cost of silver, as my pieces are always relatively large in size.
All of the 925 sterling silver used for my jewellery is sourced from Cooksongold (UK). It has a fineness of 925, consisting of 92.5% fine (pure) silver and 7.5% copper.
The silver I use is 100% recycled, i. e. it is not gained from newly mined silver. Please note that ‘recycled silver’, as a precious metal, is NOT inferior or in any way different from the silver gained through mining.
Recycled silver is re-gained from used silver, scrap silver metal, and off-cuts. It is melted down and separated into the different metal components. The pure silver is then alloyed anew with copper to produce 925 sterling silver.

Every piece of jewellery you find on SixtySix Bijoux is crafted by hand and to my own designs. The idea is to create “something from nothing”.… a jewellery object that a person will love wearing. Using mainly sterling silver allows for an abundant, almost ‘careless’, use of material… to create large, bold shapes of a noticeable size, not to be overlooked. Materials are sourced from reputable sellers to ensure quality and durability. Chunky, hollow-mounted sterling silver ring with mother-of-pearl inlay at the top. Texture finish to the silver surface adjacent to the mother-of-pearl. Otherwise polished finish.
The whole ring shape is slightly curved and slightly widens from one side to the other. The shape (part-)overlaps both neighbouring fingers. To be worn on the left hand. Very small ring size.
Width of ring band: 12mm on one side and 13mm on the other (as slightly asymmetric).

Sterling silver ring - hollow mounted ‘pebble’ or ‘lens’ shape with textured finish. A round, red CZ (cubic zirconia) has been set into the (other) end of the ring band, in a slight ‘funnel’ shape.

Sterling silver ring with large, oval shape mother-of-pearl disc with pale rose pink and green iridescent shimmer and asymmetric texture ‘pattern’.

Sterling silver dangle earrings with round faceted aqua chalcedony stones and ball chain. The set stones dangle from sterling silver ‘hinged continental ear wires’ (hooks)…. with five parallel strands of 2mm sterling silver ball chain dangling freely from the setting of the stones.

Dangle earrings made with a combination of sterling silver and black vinyl to create two-tone silver & black discs in different sizes. The 3 lower discs are soldered together to form one single element and dangle from the smallest top ‘disc’ element.

Sterling silver 3-element dangle earrings with ‘ring’ shape gold leaf inlay (+ resin) circle element at the top, plus two dangling triangle shape pieces of mother-of-pearl. The ‘dangle’ element is reversible to create two slightly different styles. The mother-of-pearl pieces are flat on one side - with a slightly matter appearance, and domed on the other - with a polished and much more glossy appearance.

Hollow mounted ‘pebble’ shape sterling silver ring. The ring band originates from underneath the ‘pebble’ shape, wraps around the finger, and then feeds through the off-centre hole in the ‘pebble’ shape.
A round, orange-champagne coloured CZ (cubic zirconia) has been set into the round end of the ring band. Part matt, part polished finish.
